本課程開授給心理系大三以上的大學部學生、以及研究所碩博士班研究生的選修課程，也歡迎外系所的學生選修。歡迎有興趣實作，進行一個實驗研究的同學修習。

課程的主要內容將以心理學的角度探討知覺與注意力，授課方式採團體討論、個別討論與報告為主。學生必須以目前我們對知覺與注意力的瞭解，嘗試提出符合當代意義的重要問題，並以心理學實驗或認知神經科學的方法試圖尋求解答。期盼學生藉著實際參與一項實驗心理學研究的進行，體會其精髓所在。

每週上課三小時，上課方式是針對「知覺與注意力」領域內特定議題的專題研究與討論。基本上所有與知覺與注意力有關的問題皆可納入可能的研究方向。上課方式首先將就學生有興趣的題目範圍做一澄清與聚焦，先確定一個由學生主動提出的問題或選取實驗室正在進行而有興趣的問題（視個人的興趣、能力與背景知識等而異）。基本上每個人將個別選擇自己有興趣的題目，接著將進行欲探討問題的文獻閱讀。最後將進入實驗設計、程式撰寫、執行實驗與分析結果的階段。


This course is opened to all students, including third year and above psychology bachelor students, psychology graduate students and students from other departments. We welcome everyone who is interested in perception and attention and would like to devote his/her time to have hands-on experience on psychological research.

This course will discuss and investigate issues relating to perception and attention from a psychological perspective. Lessons will be carried out in various formats, including group discussion, individual discussion and presentations. Through literature reviews and discussions, students should gain a more in-depth understanding of current findings on the association between perception and attention in order to propose a relevant and meaningful question. With the chosen topic, students will have the opportunity to design and implement a study of their own.
